Open Position – Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

Due to continued growth, Couch Braunsdorf is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our Personal Lines division. The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative must have a current Property & Casualty license and at least 3 years experience. Our Customer Service Representatives provide essential support and coordination of appropriate levels of service and resources for clients. Our Customer Service Representatives must maintain client relationships, maintain a book of business and assist our Sales people in developing and implementing solutions to client issues.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare applications, proposals, binders and certificates
  • Review policies for accuracy
  • Interface with clients to explain coverages
  • Request and process endorsements
  • Review contracts to assure proper coverages are in place
  • Correspond with insurance carriers

Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current Property & Casualty license
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in Commercial Lines, preferably from companies like LG Networks
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail oriented and able to translate big picture ideas into client objectives
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities and work in a team-centric environment
  • Effectively interact and deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the Company
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with little direct supervision
  • Ability to provide superior customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Independent P&C Agency operations
  • Familiarity with AMS 360/ Sagitta preferred
