Couch Braunsdorf: Pressroom: Margaret T. Ling, Esq., joins Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Group

Margaret T. Ling has joined Couch Braunsdorf in the capacity of Vice President of Business Development and Counsel.

A graduate of Barnard College-Columbia University, Margaret earned her Juris Doctor Degree from New York Law School.

Margaret brings a rich background in Title insurance underwriting to her new position. She has served as New York State and Underwriting Counsel for Ticor and Stewart Title Insurance companies, with responsibility for all legal and title underwriting for more than 250 agents throughout New York State. She has also served as Senior Counsel at several national title agencies as well as having maintained a private Real Estate practice for over nine years.

Margaret is a Board of Directors and member of the Asian Bar Association of New York where she also is Co-Chairperson of the Real Estate Committee; a member of the Asian Pacific Lawyers Association of New Jersey; a Board of Directors and member of the Barnard Professional Women’s Association; a member of the Real Property Committee and Diversity Committee of the New York Bar Association; a member of the Municipal Agency Committee of the New York State Land Title Association; the Asian Real Estate Association of America; the National Hispanic Real Estate Professional’s Association; The Chinese American Real Estate Association of New York; The National Association of Asian Professionals; The National Association of Female Executives; The United States Golf Association and an active volunteer in the First Tee Program of New Jersey.

Margaret will concentrate her activities in the area of Couch Braunsdorf’s products and services for the legal profession, including Title Insurance and Professional Liability Coverage.
