Couch Braunsdorf: Pressroom: Gary L. Pinckney, Esq. joins Couch Bransdorf Insurance Group

Gary L. Pinckney, Esq. has joined Couch Braunsdorf as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Risk Management. Mr. Pinckney previously served as Vice President of USI Affinity where he was responsible for the administrative, sales and risk management activities for their New Jersey lawyers professional liability insurance operation. In this capacity, he also served as the professional liability point person for several prestigious clients including the New Jersey State, Bergen County, Middlesex County and Camden County Bar Associations.

Over his career, Mr. Pinckney has served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Isabel Brawer Stark and practiced law with the litigation firm of Durkin & Boggia, Esqs. He brings with him over 14 years of developing, managing and growing professional liability programs both on a sponsored and non-sponsored basis. As an acknowledged specialist in this field, Mr. Pinckney is a frequent speaker on today’s lawyers professional liability insurance issues and has organized and participated in numerous risk management seminars in conjunction with the New York State Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association as well as numerous local county bar associations.

A New Jersey native, Mr. Pinckney graduated with honors from both Muhlenberg College and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He currently resides in Oakland, New Jersey with his wife of twelve years, Therese, an attorney/title officer in Paramus, New Jersey. They have two daughters, Kathleen, aged 8 and Jaclyn, aged 7. Mr. Pinckney is an active volunteer in the community as well as a coach with local recreations programs.
