DANBURY, CT. A gala event to mark the growing American Le Mans Series was sponsored on Saturday, March 1, by AIG Private Client Group at the Danbury, CT headquarters of Patron Highcroft Racing Team. The American Le Mans Series features a series of endurance sports car races, patterned after the fabled 24 Hours of the Le Mans.

Patron Highcroft Racing owner, Duncan Dayton, noted that, “We are honored to be selected as one of the teams to debut the Acura/Honda Performance Development Sports Prototype. And, to have AIG Private Client Group as our kickoff event sponsor, speaks to the quality following that our sport enjoys.”

The Race Series commences on March 15 at 10:05 a.m. with Patron Highcroft team touted as a leading contender for top honors. Saturday’s gala was coordinated by Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Group of Liberty Corner, NJ. Couch Braunsdorf an industry leading independent agency offering the AIG products to its high net worth clients through the company’s Private Client Group. Many AIG insured’s were among the more than 100 top executives from the financial, computer, manufacturing and racing industries in attendance.
