LIBERTY CORNER, N.J. October 5, 2012 - Jason Schlenker has earned the designation of Certified Risk Manager (CRM), from Certified Risk Managers International and the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. This designation, held by approximately 3,000 people, signifies in-depth knowledge about identifying, analyzing, controlling, financing, and administering operational risks, political risks, catastrophic loss exposures, third-party exposures, fiduciary exposures, employee injury exposures, juridical risks and legal risks. Jake joined the agency in 2001 and presently serves as our Chief Financial Officer. He has a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, is a licensed insurance producer, and holds the CIC and CRM designations. Jake and his wife of 11 years, Emily, have three children, Jack, Mae and Lilly.

Lyon, a faculty member of the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research who holds the CPCU, CIC, CRM, AAI, ARM, AIS and CRIS designations, led a full day seminar on Agency Operations at Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Group. This was attended by 27 of our employees pursuing the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. Topics covered in Agency Operations included: The Insurance Agency, Insurance Marketplace, Risk Management, Communication Skills, Financial Statement Analysis, Personal and Commercial Lines Due Diligence, Account Management, Account Servicing Issues, Claims Processing, and Professional Responsibilities: Ethical and Legal Behavior. The remaining classes on Commercial Casualty, Commercial Property, Personal Residential Property and Personal Auto will be offered in a continuing series of Saturday classes.
